Project Free

Lived experience. Real support. Breaking barriers to recovery and wellbeing.
Project Free is a lived experience recovery organisation that supports adults across Greater Manchester who are working through challenges such as addiction, offending behaviour, and mental health issues.
By utilising the power of lived experience and credible role models, Project Free provides a unique and empathetic approach to helping individuals on their journey toward positive change and recovery. The programme addresses the underlying challenges impacting an individual’s life, offering participants guidance, support, and practical tools for managing their wellbeing and building a more fulfilling future.
Our team is comprised of individuals who have walked the path of recovery themselves, creating a strong connection with those we serve. By drawing on their own experiences, our role models offer genuine understanding and motivation to help others break cycles of struggle. Project Free is committed to fostering long-term recovery and reintegration, making a lasting impact on individuals, families, and their communities.
