We’ve been working alongside Chef’s Catering North West, Out in the Bay and Growing Lancashire, following government PPE guidelines to deliver food to those in need.

Gareth said; “We know that it is hard times at the moment and key workers are at the front of this battle. So we delivered cakes and sandwiches to the key workers at Sands Care Home in Morecambe. From there we went over to Littledale Hall and showed our support, not just to the keyworkers, but to the residents too. We know how isolation is a mental killer, so by giving them homemade cakes and sandwiches was our way of saying that we are thinking of you and we will get through this together.”

“It was highlighted a few days ago by Lorna (RRR staff member) that members and clients of RRR were struggling with food and other basic necessities. So; we in the north contacted a catering organisation that was offering to help with this situation. After visiting Littledale, Red Rose Recovery staff went over to Wesham and St Annes to deliver free food, to help our member and their families. Each box that was donated contained enough food to feed a client and their family for 3 days.”
