Red Rose Recovery are extremely proud to highlight our ongoing collaborative relationship with Recycling Lives. Our relationship has gone from strength to strength throughout 2024, which for Red Rose is particularly powerful given that both Red Rose Recovery and Recycling Lives have shared mission goals aimed at improving individual’s quality of life.
Within our shared mission goal, Red Rose Recovery delivers a bespoke and powerful training programme designed to upskill staff, volunteers and private and statutory organisations around substance misuse, offending and peer led delivery.
Recycling Lives have been key in supporting Red Rose Recovery in allowing us to effectively deliver our own training programme to staff, volunteers and service users. In particular, the Recycling Lives Group Facilities Co-Ordinator, Amanda Kasabova, went above and beyond in her collaboration with Red Rose Recovery’s Training Lead, supporting with the provision of training facilities, refreshments and simply ensuring that attendees had an extremely warm welcome to Recycling Lives’ venue. Kitchen staff at Recycling Lives also consistently exceeded all expectations in catering for the events supported at Recycling Lives’ venue, going to great lengths to ensure Red Rose Recovery staff were welcomed and completely catered for throughout the day.
Our strong relationship and the unrivalled support provided to Red Rose Recovery by Recycling Lives has allowed for the training of circa 400 attendees within Red Rose Recovery throughout 2024. We are extremely grateful for all the support provided by Recycling Lives, and are happy to see our relationship continue to go from strength to strength.

Red Rose also want to take this opportunity to throw our support behind the pioneering work of Recycling Lives.
One of Recycling Lives’ key projects is to give back to the community by providing access to affordable, inspiring and fun cookery courses. The classes will teach participants how to create tasty, healthy and affordable meals and includes:
- recipes developed by Jamie Oliver;
- new cookery skills;
- health and nutrition;
- food safety and hygiene;
- budgeting tips.
Organisations are also invited to sponsor a participant to complete these cookery courses. Sponsorship will not only support the individuals with valuable culinary skills, but will also promote social responsibility, create community engagement and make a lasting positive impact by contributing to the development of those participants.
