Roots Community Recognised at BBC Radio Lancashire Make a Difference Awards 2025
Roots Community has been honoured at this year’s BBC Radio Lancashire Make a Difference Awards, receiving a Highly Commended Award in the Active Award category Roots Community Recognised for Impact at BBC Radio Lancashire Ceremony.
The Make a Difference Awards celebrate inspiring people and groups across Lancashire who go above and beyond to support their communities. The Active Award recognises organisations that encourage people to move more, improve wellbeing, and bring communities together through activity.
Roots Community was nominated for its commitment to recovery, wellbeing, and connection, creating opportunities for people to engage in outdoor projects, creative groups, and activities that support both physical and mental health.
