The Lancashire User Forum team recently visited Billington Lodge, where volunteers and service users came together to give back and make a real difference in the community garden.
It was an amazing day, full of teamwork, positivity, and shared purpose. Everyone involved showed just how powerful connection and community can be.
We loved every minute of being part of such a welcoming and inspiring group. It was a great opportunity to highlight the strength, kindness, and dedication of people in recovery, showing our community just how many incredible individuals are out there making a difference.
What id the Lancashire User Forum?
The Lancashire User Forum is a lived experience event that we at Red Rose Recovery support. It brings together people with personal experience of recovery, mental health, substance use, and related support services to share their views and help shape how services are delivered across Lancashire. The forum provides a safe space for people to speak openly about what is working well and what could be improved, ensuring that lived experience plays a central role in decision-making. By connecting service users, carers, and professionals, it helps influence positive change, strengthen recovery communities, and improve understanding across health and social care services.
