Amazing news from the Red Rose Recovery East team! Following a visit to Pendle Community Farm in Burnley, we’re delighted to have secured a plot of land where we can create and maintain some lovely community gardens.
The new space is a fantastic opportunity for the team and local community, creating somewhere people can get involved, spend time outdoors and work together on something positive. The gardens will also provide opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy the benefits of being outside and connecting with others.
The team are looking forward to getting started and seeing the space develop over the coming months. From preparing the land and planting to watching the gardens grow, it will be a project that people can take ownership of and enjoy together.
We’re really excited to see what can be created at Pendle Community Farm and the opportunities the new gardens will bring to the local community.
