Volunteer with us
Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance misuse, mental health and offending behaviours across Lancashire.
We have a variety of volunteering opportunities across a range of roles, from group facilitation and network speaking to assisting with media and data.
As a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation, we welcome the involvement of volunteers with lived experience of challenges with drugs, alcohol and mental health. Your own personal and relatable experience provides inspiration and hope to people who are struggling to find a way forward in their recovery journey.
By lending your time and skills, you’ll make a profound difference in helping to improve the lives of those we support. In addition, you’ll learn new skills, make new friends and contacts, build your confidence, and be part of a supportive team.
You will also gain valuable experience and insight into the inner workings of community drug, alcohol and mental health services.
Specifically, in volunteering with us, you will get…
- The opportunity to support individuals who are struggling with addiction, mental health and more.
- Access to free training such as our Speaker Bootcamp, Boundaries Training, Asset Based Community Development and Drug Awareness Training.
- The chance to become part of a thriving community.
- A pathway to get involved in the Lancashire User Forum and take part in organising events.
- The opportunity to gain valuable work experience.
- A first step into gaining employment.
- And much more…
So…
