On Saturday 28th June 2025, the Dunkenhalgh Hotel played host to our incredible Double or Nothing Charity Ball — an unforgettable evening of connection, generosity, and community spirit, all in support of domestic abuse services.
Guests arrived to a warm welcome, greeted by arrival drinks and the beautiful sounds of a live string quartet. The evening formally began at 7pm, with attendees enjoying a delicious meal, fine wine, and a variety of exciting fundraising activities — all made easy with QR-code donations at each table.
The atmosphere throughout the night was filled with compassion and unity. From heartfelt conversations to moments of celebration, the event truly reflected the strength and kindness of our community.
A special thank you goes to Libby and Charlotte, whose vision, dedication, and tireless work brought the entire event to life. Their passion was evident in every detail, and the success of the evening is a testament to their incredible efforts.
Thanks to everyone who attended, donated, or supported in any way, the ball raised over £22,000, in addition to the £4,000 already raised through the Scafell Pike challenge. Together, these efforts will directly support vital services for survivors of domestic abuse across Lancashire.
