The Be Inspired Business Awards, the BIBAs, is Lancashire’s largest and longest running business awards programme.
This year’s BIBA’s recognised the innovation, commitment and community spirit shown by Lancashire’s business community during the Coronavirus pandemic.
We put the Red Rose Recovery team forward for the BIBA’s 2020 in the category of ‘Business Hero’. The Business Hero category recognises how an individual or organisation has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and has successfully innovated and adapted to find new ways of working to continue to help and support people.
Out of 100’s of applications, we made it through to the final shortlist of 8 in our category and it was a fantastic way to celebrate and recognise the ongoing achievements of all the staff here at the organisation. Each and every day they are going above and beyond to ensure that the vulnerable people in our communities continue to get the support they need during these difficult times.
Congratulations to Age Concern Central Lancashire who were the ultimate winners for this one!
Due to the pandemic, this years BIBA’s was streamed live online on 11th September but you can watch the full video below.
