Gareth, one of our volunteers in North Lancashire, arranged a free wellbeing morning for service users this month; here’s his take on it…

“There was 6 of us in total and the morning started with indoor climbing walls. Many different walls, with various challenges on each wall/activity. After the climbing; we went on the gravity tower which is a 20m high structure with different activities at various heights.

Everyone had a great day and there was so much to do. The instructors said that they really enjoyed taking the group as we all interacted together and worked as a team though out. But most of all they could see we were all enjoying it and our positive vibe was infectious. It showed people what life is really all about, that you can empower people and give then strength on their recovery journey, build a new network by just getting out and trying something new.

As you can see in the pictures; such a great day and we are looking forward to the next one!”
