Smoke Free Lancashire – Supporting Healthier Lives Across the County
We’re delighted to share that Smoke Free Lancashire will be partnering with Red Rose Recovery at the next two Lancashire User Forums!
Who they are: Smoke Free Lancashire is a free stop‑smoking support service for people aged 12 and over who live in Lancashire (excluding Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen). It’s delivered in partnership with trusted community health organisations including Change Grow Live (CGL) and We Are With You, working together to help people take control of their tobacco use and build healthier lives. What they do: They offer personalised face‑to‑face support and practical guidance throughout the quit journey, tailored to each person’s needs. Support includes: • One‑to‑one advice and tailored quit plans. Smoke Free Lancashire • Help with cravings, stress management, and staying motivated. Smoke Free Lancashire • Access to nicotine replacement therapy and stop‑smoking products such as patches, gum, lozenges or, where appropriate, e‑cigarettes (for adults). Smoke Free Lancashire • Group activities and community sessions. Smoke Free Lancashire • Specialist support for young people aged 12+ to help them on their quit journey. They also support families and workplaces through their Smokefree Families and Smokefree Workplaces schemes, helping people create smoke‑free homes and healthier environments. Smoke Free Lancashire
Where they operate: Smoke Free Lancashire works county‑wide across Lancashire, meeting people in community locations and offering flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends at their Change Grow Live hubs…making it easier for people to access help. Smoke Free Lancashire
Additional support: They promote a free quit support app called My Quit Route, which provides tools, expert advice, and a structured quit plan available 24/7. Lancashire.gov.uk
