LUFStock 2026 – A Weekend of Connection
LUFStock 2026 was a fantastic weekend of camping, connection and community, held from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August at Bowley International Scout Centre in Great Harwood, Blackburn.
The weekend may have started with plenty of rain, but it certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Everyone helped each other get set up before coming together around the campfire for songs, laughter and connection. There were also some fantastic creative touches, including braids and glitter for the girls, helping to get everyone into the LUFStock spirit.
Saturday brought beautiful sunshine and a packed programme of activities, with something for everyone to enjoy. From sports, music and a recovery-focused play to art, exercise, meditation and yoga, the day captured everything LUFStock is about. The BBQ was enjoyed by all, alongside the unveiling of the weekend’s art piece and a fantastic group photo. Queens on Screen also helped lift spirits and offered support throughout the day, before everyone returned to the campfire for more music, games and a surprise appearance from Fallen Angels.
The weekend came to a beautiful close on Sunday with a cacao meditation and sound bath before everyone packed up and headed home.
What made LUFStock so special was seeing so many people come together, make new connections and support one another. Watching the children play, laugh and simply enjoy being children was a wonderful reminder of why events like this matter.
LUFStock 2026 was a fantastic celebration of community, recovery, friendship and 20 years of the Lancashire User Forum. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, delivered activities and helped make the weekend so memorable. With plenty more planned in the coming months, we look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s LUFStock.
