LUF Stock 2024 has come to a close, and what a fantastic event it was! Held in the beautiful setting of Carnforth, the campout was filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
The festivities kicked off with a smooth setup, followed by an engaging Red Rose Recovery music quiz that set the tone for the rest of the day. Campers then enjoyed a delicious meal before showcasing their talents in a lively talent show, all while sipping on hot chocolate around the campfire.
The next day brought even more excitement. A hearty breakfast of bacon, sausage, and egg sandwiches fuelled everyone for a day packed with activities, including boxercise, yoga, and a sports day that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. Teams banded together for classic races like the egg and spoon race and the relay, with plenty of laughs and cheers all around.
To beat the heat, we cooled off with ice cream before diving into a thrilling tug-of-war. As the day wound down, we gathered for a tea-time feast, followed by a karaoke session that had everyone singing along around the campfire. The night concluded with films and music, setting the perfect mood as we prepared to pack up and say goodbye on the final day.
LUF Stock 2024 was a resounding success, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a sense of community that will last until next year’s campout.
