What an uplifting and inspiring day it was at the Lancashire User Forum as we came together to celebrate the strength, progress, and unity of the recovery community across the region.

The event brought together individuals from all walks of life — people with lived experience, dedicated volunteers, and supportive partners — all united by a shared commitment to recovery and community wellbeing. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, hope, and powerful reminders of just how far people can come with the right support and connection.

We heard moving talks from individuals bravely sharing their personal journeys…real, raw stories of struggle, transformation, and hope. These testimonies reminded us of the progress being made every day and the resilience that exists within our community.

One of the most touching moments came when we honoured our longest-serving volunteer, a truly incredible woman who has dedicated years of time, care, and compassion to helping others. In recognition of her unwavering commitment, we surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers — a small token of appreciation for someone who has made such a big impact. Thank you for everything you do.

To everyone who joined us — thank you. Your presence made the day truly special, and your support continues to help us build stronger, more connected communities rooted in hope and recovery.
