Presents for Prisoners 🎁
This Christmas, the Red Rose Recovery Training Team has been working hard to bring a little light to those who may be struggling with the festive season. Through our Presents for Prisoners initiative, we’re helping individuals without family support send a gift and a heartfelt message to their loved ones.
We understand how difficult this time of year can be for families separated by circumstances, especially children missing an absent parent. By granting small Christmas wishes, we hope to bring comfort, connection, and joy to those who need it most.
Wishing you all peace and warmth this holiday season. Let’s come together to support one another through this challenging time.
A Year of Growth, Collaboration, and Hope at HMP Hindley 🎁
As we reflect on the past year at Red Rose Recovery, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible strides we’ve made together as a recovery community at HMP Hindley. Through collaboration with partners such as the Drug Strategy Lead, CGL, Recovery Officers, and others, we’ve demonstrated the power of joint working to bring change, hope, and achievement to those we support.
2024 has been a year of growth and success, showcasing the strength we draw from one another and the important work we do. Together, we’ve fostered connections, built resilience, and created opportunities for positive change. From meaningful partnerships to inspiring individual stories of recovery, our community has truly grown from strength to strength.
This holiday season, we celebrated with a fabulous Christmas event aimed at bringing comfort and joy to those who may struggle during this challenging time of year. It was a reminder of the importance of togetherness, compassion, and the power of a supportive recovery community.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited for the opportunities to continue growing, building connections, and creating a brighter future for all. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey—we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the year to come.
Partnerships That Make a Difference
Furthermore, we at Red Rose Recovery are proud to work in partnership with Church on the Street Burnley (COTS), whose mission to provide coats and shoes for children in need has been nothing short of inspiring. This year, their generosity and commitment have extended to supporting our Presents for Prisoners initiative.
In collaboration with HMP Hindley and Red Rose Recovery, COTS has carved out time and resources to bring hope and joy to families separated by circumstances.
Together, we’re proving that when we join forces, we can create lasting impact and brighter futures for those in need.
Here’s to a hopeful, connected, and recovery-ready 2025!
